SATEC was founded as a business name in May 2007. It has slowly developed to a small and innovative Telecommunications and IT service provider, in terms of providing quality Telecommunications and IT services and consultancy. The company is currently based in Port Moresby and has regular clients which include Laloki Psychiatric Hospital, Enga Provincial Government, New Ireland Provincial Government, Kavieng District Authority and Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited (MVIL). SATEC is currently partnering with Protocol IT (an Australian based ICT Company) to carry out ICT Audits and provide more ICT Integrated Business Solutions and Telecommunication Solutions.
SATEC engages IT Specialists and Engineers in the areas of Telecommunications and Integrated ICT Business Solutions whenever the need arises from its clients. The company has over 5 years of experience in delivering innovative and quality solutions for its clients.
With over 10 years of experience in this industry, Simon has exceptional technical skills and knowledge on systems analysis, design and implementation and has been a lead consultant on similar projects undertaken by the World Bank and the Government of Papua New Guinea. He has been the principal director of SATEC since its inception in 2007 in Papua New Guinea.
Simon has managed many projects successfully since 2007 and is usually engaged by the World Bank and the Government of Papua New Guinea on information system projects in Papua New Guinea as he has very good management skills and ensures that projects are delivered on time and within budget. For this project he will be the Director to oversee that it is delivered to client satisfaction.
With over fifteen years of industrial experience, in consulting, software development, database systems and systems engineering, Prathip joined Satec as the Technical Partner. His work experience includes consultancy at Price Waterhouse Coopers, World Bank and ADB funded projects. His expertise in the software development, attention to details and adherence to standards has helped him win many World Bank funded projects in the Pacific region.
Prathip has successfully developed and implemented numerous projects in Java, Php and .Net platforms. He is our lead Enterprise Architect for the MVC framework projects on Java, J2EE and Php platforms. Prathip has good working experience in database platforms like Ms SQL, MySQL, Microsoft Access and DB2.
Prathip holds a BSc Engineering degree, Australian Computer Society certification and diplomas in computing and software development.
